The match that broke all records.
The Rafa Nadal Foundation and the Real Madrid Foundation came together to organise this charitable event in which the proceeds obtained would serve to support the charitable projects of both foundations, at the forefront of solidarity with those in need.
This event was organised by the Real Madrid Foundation and the Rafa Nadal Foundation, and would be a global milestone. This match, dubbed 'Alma Nadal', would mean a new Guinness world record for attendance at a tennis match. So far, this record was held by the 35,681 people who attended a game between Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters. However, with the Bernabéu as the venue, it was to be widely surpassed.
Komodo Comunicacion is a multidisciplinary agency based in Madrid and Barcelona, providing international events and design services. The agency can deliver the strategy, execution and production on any project. I joined Komodo Comunicacion as a mid-weight assistant designer, and after a few months, I started to take ownership of different projects as Art Director. Komodo likes a mix of different professionals such as interior designers, videographers and graphic designers in order to seamlessly execute each project.
The Project
The event needed visual support for its presentation charity gala where both foundations would fundraise and find more alliances for future events.
The visual identity was based on the event's main communication taking its elements and bringing the Madrid sky to reflect the difference in between.
